TopDraw is a UK prize competition platform built around clear ticket caps, a free postal entry route and published winners. This guide walks through how a competition runs from start to finish so you know exactly what to expect before you enter.
What is TopDraw?
TopDraw runs prize competitions for UK residents aged 18 and over. Each competition has a fixed prize, a fixed ticket price and a fixed maximum number of tickets, known as the ticket cap. Everything that matters before you enter is shown upfront on the competition page, including the closing date and the planned draw date.
We never use hidden ticket pools, fake countdowns or pressure tactics. Every competition has the same structure, so once you understand one you understand them all.
How to enter a competition
You can browse all open prizes on the [live TopDraw competitions](/competitions) page. Each card shows the prize, ticket price and ticket cap. Tap a competition to read the full description and any extra detail.
From the competition page you can choose the number of tickets you want, or use the [build a prize bundle](/build-a-bundle) tool to combine entries across multiple prizes. When you are ready, head to checkout.
What happens after checkout
After your payment is confirmed your entries are recorded against your account. You receive an on-screen confirmation immediately, and your tickets become visible inside your account area. If anything goes wrong with payment, no entries are recorded and the page tells you what to do next.
There is also a [free postal entry route](/free-entry) for every competition. The postal route is genuinely free and gives the same chance of winning as a paid ticket.
How ticket numbers are issued
Every valid entry gets a unique ticket number for that competition. Numbers are issued during processing once your payment or postal entry is confirmed. You will see your numbers listed in your account against the relevant competition.
Ticket numbers are not chosen by you. They are assigned automatically so the process stays fair and predictable for everyone.
How winners are selected
When a competition closes, only valid entries go into the draw. That includes paid entries and accepted postal entries. The draw uses a verifiable random selection method and the result is recorded with a downloadable proof file for the admin team.
Winners are reviewed before being published, so we can confirm the win and contact the winner privately first.
Where winners are published
You can see recent winners on the [TopDraw winners](/winners) page. Each entry shows the prize, the winning ticket number and a display-safe name. Past competitions are also archived for transparency.
Start with a live competition
